Most of us are surrounded by noise and constant stimulation of our senses. Even with sensory adaption, we all need a little quiet.
Healing energy can often be found in the stillness and silence.
New to meditation or even if you’ve been practicing for a long time, all are welcome and encouraged to engage in this one hour class. The class will begin with brief instructions, followed by a ten minute meditation and then a twenty minute meditation held in silence. There will be a 5 minute pause before and after each meditation, where we will continue to honor the silence. You may bring a yoga mat or a pillow to sit on, and please wear something comfortable. We do have mats and blankets at the studio for your use, if you do not own one of your own.
