I am Christina Marcia! Yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher. A vinyasa preferred  style practitioner with guided and silent meditation. I aim to provide and hold space for  mindful breathing, meditation, and movement through asana based flow. Holding space  for those seeking internal peace and a tranquil calm spirit. I have been certified and  trained with Your Inner Yogi in Ashtangasana YTT 200 hour and registered with the Yoga  Alliance. I am a new teacher with over 7 years of practice in yoga and guided meditation.  Inspired and taught by Candace Saulsberry owner and Yoga teacher of The Yoga Kickback.  Also inspired by Your Inner Yogi owner and teacher Libby Campo along with Caroline  Collins, Bridget Sisney, Jackie O. and Kandace Stewart. I inspire to offer a space for peace,  relaxation, self-care, positivity, love, and care for each student. Pushing the community to  join together in an effort to create more safe spaces for individuals to freely be themselves  with respect and love for who others are. A non judgement zone but honorable  environment. Having experienced waves of life’s experiences as a black woman, a mother,  a daughter, a sister, etc., I found yoga practice in the confinement of my home with just me  and a Kemetic Yoga video on YouTube. My practice evolved of years into my first public  class with The Yoga Kickback. This space offered so much of what was needed for me. In  this space I experienced having a voice, a mat, a listening ear, support, relatability and love  from other black women. For many years it was my safe haven for a 60 min class of Vinyasa  flow, Ashtanga and Guided Meditation. This space, teacher, and practice inspired me on  my journey to become a Yoga teacher and opened my heart to assist other women to have  that peace within! I aim to offer a safe space for those in need to take up space and to just  breathe!

TEACHER DESCRIPTION

Vinyasa flow instructor with calming guided meditation. Holding space for all to obtain  inner peace through guided yoga flow and specializing in holistic mental wellness for black  women and mothers. Teaching beginners and intermediate level yogis with some Ashtanga  based practice as well.
