Last weekend I flew to NY to handle some business with my dad and this got me thinking of how within the last few months I’ve been back and forth non-stop… working, teaching, traveling, parenting and loving. To say the least it’s been a bumpy road. Instead of avoiding any challenges, I’ve sat with them, acknowledged them, recognized the good and then let them go to move on to continue living. I’ve found time to smile, be grateful and enjoy the priceless moments spent with those dear to me. Within this process I’ve noticed how I am more mindful of my intentions in my interactions, words, meal choices and teaching. Although, time may sometime feel limited we have to BREATHE, open our hearts, let go of expectations and make each second count and not waste valuable energy on things out of our control.
